Cuartos de final de la UEFA Youth League

Ya conocemos los enfrentamientos de cuartos de final de la UEFA Youth League, que es la UEFA Champions League de los equipos sub-19. Al igual que en octavos, los enfrentamientos de cuartos de final se disputarán a partido único los días 11, 12, 18 y 19 de marzo. Los cuatro equipos que pasen a semifinales disputarán su pase a la final en el Colovray stadium de Nyon, Suiza, donde se realizará una fiesta del fútbol base con los cuatro mejores equipos sub19 de todos los participantes en la UEFA Champions League 2013/2014. La final también se disputará en la sede de la UEFA y no habrá partido por el tercer y cuarto puesto. Las semifinales serán el 11 de abril mientras que el 14 se disputará la gran final que coronará a un equipo como el primer campeón de la UEFA Youth League.

En octavos de final había siete equipos cuyo primer equipo no se encontraba en la misma ronda. En total había cuatro españoles, tres ingleses, dos italianos y uno de Alemania, Ucrania, Austria, Portugal, Rusia, Francia y Dinamarca. Tras los enfrentamientos de octavos esa lista se ha reducido a tres ingleses (han hecho pleno), dos españoles (tan solo han pasado la mitad) y el pase del único representante de Alemania, Francia y Portugal.

Los enfrentamientos de cuartos de final serán:

FC Barcelona (ESP) – Arsenal FC (ING)

Chelsea FC (ING) – FC Schalke 04 (ALE)

Paris Saint-Germain (FRA) – Real Madrid CF (ESP)

Manchester City FC (ING) – SL Benfica (POR)

Salvo el alemán Schalke 04, que es a priori el equipo más flojo de cuartos, cualquiera de los equipos mencionados puede ganar la UEFA Youth League. A pesar de que toda la ronda final se dispute en Nyon, campo neutro, ya conocemos los enfrentamientos de semifinales así como la final.

Los enfrentamientos de semifinales en el Colovray stadium (Nyon, Suiza) serán el 11 de abril:

1 - Paris Saint-Germain (FRA) – Real Madrid CF (ESP) v Manchester City FC (ING) – SL Benfica (POR)

2 - Chelsea FC (ING) – FC Schalke 04 (ALE) v FC Barcelona (ESP) – Arsenal FC (ING)

La final también será en la sede de la UEFA, el 14 de abril:

Semifinal 1 vs Semifinal 2
